TARGET GROUPS: Residents of Pazardzhik. Users of the town's street infrastructure.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT: Improving the lighting environment, reducing electricity consumption and reducing operating costs.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:

🔘 Increasing the energy efficiency of street lighting and reducing the consumption of electricity from the street lighting system.
🔘 Maximum reduction of the time for accumulation of energy losses, but without increase of the costs for maintenance of the network traffic.
🔘 Reduction of the direct costs of the Municipality for street lighting with high quality lighting provided.
🔘 Ensuring safe movement of motor vehicles, increasing the safety of pedestrians during the dark hours of the day and creating a comfortable night atmosphere.

The project envisages reconstruction and modernization of artificial street lighting in accordance with modern European requirements. Lighting replacement affects:

Blvd. “Georgi Benkovski” ,
Blvd. “Tsar Osvoboditel”,
✅ “Plovdivska” Street,
✅ “Kocho Chestimenski” Street,
Blvd. “Bulgaria”, “Stefan Stambolov” Street,
the bridge over the river Maritsa,
“Tsaritsa Yoanna” street
And part of the adjacent streets in the town of Pazardzhik.

The old lighting will be replaced with new LED fixtures. A system for central management and monitoring of the new lighting fixtures is also envisaged. New lighting control panels will be installed to power the streets within the scope of the project. A facility for production of energy from Renewable energy sources for the needs of outdoor lighting in the city will be introduced.

EXPECTED RESULTS:

🔘 Replaced existing High pressure sodium lamp \HPSL\ and Compact fluorescent lamp \CFL\ luminaires with LED luminaires.
🔘 Introduced Automation and Management System for monitoring the consumption of electricity from outdoor lighting.
🔘 Introduced facility for production of energy from renewable sources for the needs of outdoor lighting in the city.
